Bank Report Tab

The Bank Report Tab plays a crucial role in the financial claim cycle process. This tab consolidates all claims that have been approved by Finance, providing an efficient way to organize and analyze financial data. The main purpose of this tab is to streamline the generation and exportation of claim reports for further analysis and processing by Finance.

Importance of the Bank Report Tab

  • Data Consolidation: Centralizes all approved claims for quick access.

  • Efficiency: Simplifies the process of financial report generation and ensures accurate data is readily available for payroll or audit purposes.

  • Transparency: Ensures clear documentation of all claims, providing a robust audit trail.

Example Use Case

  • A Finance officer filters claims approved by Review Level 2 to ensure all data aligns with the payroll schedule.

  • The officer generates a bank report to review total payment amounts and claim details.

  • The report is exported into Excel, where further calculations, such as tax deductions, can be performed.

How It Works

The Bank Report tab allows users to filter claims by review levels to focus on specific data sets. Users can generate and export detailed reports that help Finance complete essential tasks like payroll reconciliation, tax reporting, or further claim validation.

Key Features

  1. Filter by Review Level: Users can select which review level (from Level 1 to Level 4) they wish to focus on, narrowing down the report to the relevant claim lines.

  2. Two Clickable Actions:

    • Generate Bank Report: This button generates a report containing all approved claim items in the selected review level for the current claim cycle.

    • Export Bank Report: Exports the generated report into an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis and processing.

The generated report provides detailed information on:

  • Employee Code

  • Transaction Reference Number

  • Claimant Name

  • Bank Details (e.g., Account Number, Bank Name)

  • Payment Amount

This organized format ensures Finance can quickly identify discrepancies and validate payments.

Exported Bank Report

The exported bank report is available in Excel format. This enables:

  • Easy sharing among Finance team members.

  • Advanced data analysis using Excel tools (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).

  • A clear breakdown of total payments, ensuring accountability.

At the top right corner of the tab, users can view:

  • Total Employee Count: Number of employees with approved claims.

  • Crediting Date: The scheduled date for payment processing.

  • Total Payment Amount: The total sum of all claims included in the report.

The Bank Report Tab is an essential tool that simplifies claim management and ensures accurate financial reporting for organizations.
