Sampling Analysis Report Tab

The Sampling Analysis Report Tab provides a comprehensive analysis of sampled claims within a claim cycle. This tab goes beyond the basic sampling functionality by offering detailed insights and summaries for enhanced decision-making and auditing.

Importance of the Sampling Analysis Report Tab

  • Enhanced Auditing: Provides a detailed summary of claims, making it easier to identify trends, anomalies, or irregularities.

  • Efficiency: Helps users quickly generate actionable reports for compliance and auditing purposes.

  • Customizable Analysis: Users can tailor the sampling criteria to meet specific auditing or review needs.

Features of the Sampling Analysis Report Tab

Overall Summary:

  • Displays critical metrics, including:

    • Total Employee Count: Number of employees included in the sampling analysis.

    • Total Claim Lines: Total claims reviewed in the analysis.

    • Chargeable vs. Non-Chargeable Claims: Breakdown of claims based on their financial categorization.

    • Normal Submission vs. Resubmission: Distinguishes first-time claims from re-submitted ones.

    • Flagged Claims Percentage: Identifies flagged claims for focused reviews.

    • Approval Metrics: Tracks mass or individual approvals across finance and supervisory levels.

  • Purpose: Provides a snapshot of the claim cycle, highlighting key statistics for quick decision-making.

Example Scenario

A finance team wants to analyze all flagged claims under "Travel and Accommodation" submitted in a particular month. They use the Sampling Analysis Report Tab to:

  • Filter by the "Travel and Accommodation" category.

  • Select flagged claims only.

  • Define the date range for the claim submissions. After generating the report, they export the data for further analysis and decision-making.

Steps to Create a Sampling Analysis Report

  1. Navigate to the Sampling Analysis Report Tab.

  2. Define the criteria for your analysis using the available fields:

    • Fill in specific criteria or leave fields blank to include all relevant claims.

  3. Click the Generate button to create the report.

  4. Review the Overall Summary displayed at the top of the page.

  5. After the report has been generated, click the Export Report button on the right side of the screen. This will download the report in a preferred format, usually CSV or Excel.

Exported Sampling Analysis Report
  • Exported reports include:

    • Reviewer details.

    • Finance reviewer actions.

    • Claim details such as type, item, and status.

Additional Actions

  1. Approve Claims:

    • Approvers can review and approve claims directly within the Sampling Analysis Report Tab.

  2. Place Claims On-Hold:

    • If issues or inconsistencies are identified, approvers can place claims on hold and add remarks or requests for clarification.

By utilizing the Sampling Analysis Report Tab, users can ensure a high level of accuracy and compliance in their claim review processes while gaining valuable insights into claim trends and patterns.
