Create / Edit Bill of Materials

Menu Path: Inventory > Bill of Materials > Create / Edit Bill of Materials

• Key in specific Item Code or click 'Select Item Code' for search function
• Click 'Get BOM' 

• Click 'Create BOM' if the BOM is not exist in system

1. Item Pricing will follow Add Item pricing levels and "Display Option" selection

2. Allow Pricing Matrix : False (not allowed) / True (allowed)

    Change Item Status : Active / Inactive 

3. Display Option:

• Display Parent → to show Parent Item on Package search widget and Transactions

• Display Child Only → only show Child Item on Package search widget and Transactions

• Hide Child Item→ only show parent item on Package search widget and Transactions

4. Pricing Logic:

• CHILD_ITEM_TOTAL → BOM item to follow total amount of childs items

• PARENT_ITEM_PRICING_SCHEME → BOM item to follow  the price of parent item

5. Key in Specific Item Code or click 'Item Code' for search function

• Display Logic → Hide or Display Row on Item Search Widget OR Replace Text for Pseudo Code
• Key in Pseudo Code if Display Logic is Replace Text 

• Click 'Add New Child Item'

• Click Edit or Delete to change the child item setting in BOM creation
• Click 'Confirm and Save' → to proceed the BOM creation 

Tips:

• BOM parent Item will not be displayed in the BOM Availability and Stock Availability reports if it does not have any child item. Please use BOM listing to view BOM parent item which does not any child item
• System does not allowed to create BOM when the display options is Display Child Only and Pricing Logic is Parent_Item_Scheme

• EMP system allows creating or adding of BOM child item that are more than 3 decimal places.
• 'Service' Item Type is a MUST for Parent Item 

• The Parent Item and Child Item Pricing Levels follow the Pricing when Add Item level
• When Pseudo Item applied → Create Invoice page should shows the Pseudo Item when search package

• Edit the status of BOM Parent also will update the item status under Edit Item, and vice versa
