Customizing the Customer Portal
Once your website and host name are ready, you can begin configuring the Customer Portal to match your branding and operational requirements.
Uploading Website Logo:
Why is this step important? A logo is a key element of branding. Adding it ensures your portal is visually aligned with your organization’s identity, improving user trust and recognition.

Navigate to the "Manage Image" section in the CP-Commerce Admin Applet.
Click the "+" button to upload your logo and select the image type as "Logo."
Save the changes to apply them.
Steps to Create a Member Class
Why is this step important? Setting a default member class ensures consistent user categorization, simplifying user management and enhancing the customer experience.
Navigate to the Membership Admin Applet and select the "Member Class" section from the left-hand menu.
Click the "+" button to create a new membership class.
Fill in the following details:
Membership Class Code: This is a unique code that identifies the membership class.
Membership Class Name: Enter a descriptive name for the class (e.g., "Premium Members").
Double-check the entered details for accuracy.
Click the "Create" button to save the new member class.
After creating the class, go to the CP-Commerce Admin Applet and set the new member class as the default.
Save the changes to finalize the configuration.
Customizing Layouts:
The layout defines the structure and design of your Customer Portal. Configure the following:
Create Header Go to the Layout Management section and select "Create Header." Add rows to structure your header. Add widgets such as your logo or navigation links. Save the layout.
Why is this step important? The header provides primary navigation and branding elements, ensuring easy access to key sections of the portal.
Steps:
Go to the Layout Management section and Create Header
Add rows to structure your header.
Add widgets such as:
Logo Widget: Place your company logo prominently for brand recognition.
Navigation Widget: Add links to key sections of the portal to ensure easy navigation.
Update the Layout.
Create Footer: Go to the Layout Management section and select "Create Footer." Add rows to structure your Footer. Add widgets such as social media links. Save the layout.
The footer contains essential information such as contact details, social media links, and legal notices, helping users find support and other key resources.
Why is this step important? The footer ensures users can quickly access support or legal information, improving user experience and compliance.

Go to the Layout Management section and select "Create Footer."
Add rows to structure your footer.
Add widgets such as:
Footer Widget: Include contact information, social media links, or copyright notices.
Update the Layout.

Add Rows to organize content.
Add Widgets specific to Customer Portal functionalities.
Adjust the color scheme to match your branding.
Save the Layout.

Click the Create button (often indicated with a "+" or "Add" icon). Enter the necessary details for the new layout, such as:
Name: Give the layout a descriptive name, e.g., "E-Invoice".
Code: Assign a unique code, e.g., "e-invoice".
Status: Set the layout to "ACTIVE".
Type: Choose the appropriate type, such as "ROUTABLE".
Optional: Add a description for the layout for future reference.
Add Rows to Organize Content
Use the Add Rows functionality to structure the layout. Define how many rows are needed based on your content or sections.
Add Widgets Specific to Customer Portal Functionalities
In row, add widgets that provide features or functionality for the Customer Portal.
E-Invoice widget.
Adjust the Color Scheme
Customize the color scheme to align with your brand guidelines:
Adjust background colors, fonts, or button styles.
Ensure consistent branding across the portal.
Preview and Save the Layout
Review the layout in the preview mode to ensure all elements appear as expected. Click the Save button to finalize and activate the layout.
