Import File

The Import File feature in the Inventory Item Maintenance Applet enables users to create and upload inventory data, including item serial numbers, with editing options available for updates.

Creating and Uploading Files: By clicking the “+” button, users can initiate the Upload Master Data process. Here, users can either drag and drop files anywhere within the window or select Upload File to locate a file on their device. Once the file is ready, users complete the process by clicking the Add button.

Editing Uploaded Inventory Item Serial Numbers: After files are uploaded, users can click on any listing under Upload Inventory Item Serial No Edit Options to access edit features. This section includes two tabs:

• Main Tab: Displays core details of the uploaded data.

• Checking Tab: Provides additional verification options for accuracy and completeness.

This feature ensures easy batch data management, allowing users to update serial numbers and inventory information quickly and efficiently.
