1.0 Features

The Items section allows users to create, edit, and manage inventory items with detailed categorization and flexible customization options. Items or inventory records can also be created, edited, and categorized under both the Doc Item Maintenance Applet and Inventory Item Maintenance Applet. Users can set the default item listing in the settings section of the applet and customize field and tab layouts through the settings as well.

1.1 Inventory Items Listing

Upon opening the Inventory Item Maintenance Applet, users land on the Inventory Items Listing page. Here, users can:

  • Create a new item by clicking the “+” button.

  • Edit existing items by selecting the desired row.

1.1.1 Creating Items

Clicking the “+” button initiates the item creation sequence, where users must complete the required fields marked with “*” (e.g., Item Code, Item Name, Item Type, Sub Item Type, Base UOM, and Item Description). Clicking the “CREATE” button finalizes the process, while the back button cancels it.

1.1.2 Editing Items

 

 

To edit an item, users select the desired row, displaying various details under different tabs, including:

Main Details: Shows fields like Item Code, Item Name, Item Type, Sub Item Type, and Base UOM. Users can choose item types such as Basic Item, Bundle Item, Grouped Item, Coupon, Service Warranty, Batch and Expiry, and Doc Header Adjustment.

Users can scroll through tabs using the “>” button, with any edits saved by selecting “Save,” or discarded using the back button. The Delete button at the bottom of the Main tab allows for item removal from the listing.

Item Category: Users can add or view categories by selecting the “+” button, or update and remove categories as needed.

Certain tabs in this applet involve items from different listings, such as “Item Category” and “Fi-Item Linking”.

 

 

Here, the categories created are displayed. The user can select the desired category by ticking the box, and clicking the “Add” button will successfully add the selected categories to the item.

 

 

Here, users are able to view the details of the Category selected. Users are able to update the details by clicking the “Update” button after making any changes or remove the added category by clicking the “Remove” button.

 

 

Multi UOM: Users can manage multiple UOMs, adding or editing entries via the “+” button and saving changes or removing items when necessary.

Certain tabs in this applet such as “Multi Uom” and “Manage Image” can have multiple data.

 

 

Users will need to fill in the required fields, then click on the “Add” button to finish the addition of the uom.

All the required fields are marked with “*”, indicating that theyimage-20241118-055332.png must be filled in to complete the item creation process.

 

 

Users will be able to update the values of any existing uom by clicking on the “Update” button after making any changes or remove an existing uom by clicking on the “Remove” button.

 

 

Dimensions: Fields for Height, Width, Weight, and Length of the item.

Under the “Dimensions” tab, users can simply edit the dimensions detail by changing the data in the fields, clicking on the “Save” button afterward will record the changes made.

 

 

Manage Image: Users can add or update images, categorize them, and edit related details.

Under the “Manage Image” tab, users can simply edit the image’s detail by selecting any existing image rows, or, add a new image by clicking on the “+” button.

 

 

To add an image, the user will need to upload the image file first, then the user needs to select the corresponding image category, and (if any) the details of the image under the fields below.

The user can then finish the image-adding process by clicking on the “Add” button.

 

 

Location: Here, the user can view the related locations for the Inventory Items, as well as its stock balance.

Shows Minimum Quantity, Maximum Quantity, and Stock Balance Quantity for different item locations.

 

 

Company: Here, the user can view the company handling the inventory items.

The company tab Displays the Total Number of Companies and the Total Stock Balance of the item across companies.

 

 

Stock Card: Allows filtering by Location and Date Range (using a calendar feature) to view stock records based on document numbers.

the corresponding filtered data will be displayed in the table.
