Professional Body Configuration

  • The Professional Body configuration in the e-Claim module allows organizations to define and manage recognized professional institutions for which claims can be submitted. This configuration is essential for handling claims related to professional study schemes and subscriptions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in claim processing.

Importance of Professional Body Configuration in the E-Claim Module

  • Validation: Ensures claims are associated with recognized and approved professional bodies.

  • Accuracy: Reduces errors by maintaining a standardized list of institutions.

  • Compliance: Aligns claims with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Streamlined Processes: Simplifies claim submission by providing a predefined list for employees.

Example Use Case

Scenario: An organization introduces a new policy to subsidize membership fees for professional bodies.

  1. The system administrator adds "Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute" to the Professional Body list.

  2. Employees submitting claims for CFA membership fees can now select this professional body during claim submission.

  3. The system ensures that only claims associated with recognized professional bodies are processed, improving accuracy and compliance.
