Menu Path: Control Panel >System admin> Manage Users > Audit Trail Report
This function provides a chronological record or destination along with the source of records as a documentary evidence of the sequence of activities that take effect at any time on a specific operation, procedure, or event that occurs on Enterprise Management Portal (EMP).
This function allows user to generate detailed Audit Trail whereby can filter by users, branches, Dates, types, keywords.
1. Audit Trail main interface and Fields
Filter Criteria:
- User
- Branch
- Date Range;
- Type;
- Keyword
2. Record of Backdated / Future dated of Payment Voucher transaction on Audit Trail Report
Below is the example of one of the above.
Payment Voucher Backdated Transaction
The audit trail report will show the Backdated Transaction of Open Payment Voucher.

3. Audit Trail for change of category in Edit Item
Menu Path: Inventory > Item > Edit Item
1.On Edit Item, select an item code. Changes to any or all of it's categories will affect and tracked by the Audit Trail Report.
- User may commit changes at the item's category and view the changes or activities on Audit Trail Report simultaneously.
- The following image displays the Audit Trail Report that user will have to refer to view those changes executed at the Edit Item function page.
- User may navigate to Control Panel >System admin> Manage Users > Audit Trail Report
- Select the fields; user, branch, date, and type, user will be able to see results such as the image below.
- The image below highlights the changes made to the item.
4. Record of Backdated / Future dated for Journal Transaction on Audit Trail Report
Menu Path: Accounting > Journal and Ledger > Add Jtxn
1.Creating a Backdated journal transaction:
The date is set as in backdated, example:
Current Date: 24 / 03 / 2017
Back dated: 14 / 03 / 2017
- Choose the respective values for the fields shown as per the image below, and click save detail before clicking on Add GL Code.
- Click on Confirm and Save button after creating the Journal Transaction.
2.Creating a Future dated journal transaction:
The date is set as in future dated, example:
Current Date: 24 / 03 / 2017
Future dated: 01 / 04 / 2017
- Choose the respective values for the fields shown as per the image below, and click save detail before clicking on Add GL Code.
- Click on Confirm and Save button after creating the Journal Transaction.
- The new enhancement allows Audit Trail Report to record both backdated and future dated transaction:
5. Record the details of the created task to the audit report
Menu Path: Control Panel > Developer > Plugins > Task Scheduler > Create Task
1.Creating a Task:
Below image shows the main interface for Task Scheduler Function on EMP.
Once all the fields are filled, click on Create Task.
Note: All fields are compulsory to fill in EXCEPT for the Description.
Below message will be displayed upon successfully created the Task. The yellow highlighted field is the Created Task Number.
The ERROR MESSAGE below will be shown or pop up if already existed or created task has been attempted to create once again
2. Check the recorded details of created task on Audit Trail Report
Menu Path: Control Panel > system Admin > Manage User > Audit Trail Report
Below shows the main interface that can be monitored by the user
- All fields has to be filled in appropriately with a correct value.
- The report can be generated either by selecting the User tick Option / Branch tick Option
- Click Submit upon completing the fields
Report will be displayed upon clicking on Submit button.
- The image shows the details of created task that has been tracked by the Audit Trail Report
- It will show the remarks, date and the time along with the user account to display which user has created the task
