Line Reports
Introduction
The Line Reports page provides a comprehensive view of all claims created by a user, displaying each claim line individually. This section allows users to track their claim statuses, monitor progress, and locate claim lines tied to specific claim headers. The Line Reports page enhances transparency and helps claimants maintain better control over their claims.
Why the Line Reports Page is Important
Centralized View: Offers a consolidated list of all claim lines, enabling users to review details across multiple claims.
Status Tracking: Displays the current status of each claim line, helping users identify actions needed to complete submissions or approvals.
Streamlined Search: Simplifies the process of locating specific claim lines, especially when users forget which claim header they are associated with.
Key Features of the Line Reports Page
Summary Dashboard (Highlighted in Red):
At the top of the page, a summary dashboard displays the total number of claim lines in various statuses, including:
Draft: The claim has been created but not submitted yet.
Pending Approval: The claim is submitted and awaiting supervisor approval.
Approved: The claim has been reviewed and approved by all required approvers.
Rejected: The claim has been declined by an approver.
Pending Doc Review: The claim is under review by the Finance department for documentation verification.
On Hold: The claim is temporarily paused, typically due to missing information or further clarification needed.
This provides a quick overview of the current claim line distribution.
Line Reports Listing (Highlighted in Blue):
The listing table shows detailed information for each claim line, such as:
Claim ID: A unique identifier for the claim.
Claimant: The name of the individual who created the claim.
Claim Item: The specific category of the claim (e.g., Travel Allowance, Bank Charges).
Type: Indicates whether the claim is Chargeable or Non-Chargeable.
Claim Status: Reflects the current state of the claim (e.g., Draft, Approved, Rejected).
Currency: The currency in which the claim is submitted.
Claim Amount: The total amount claimed.
Date: The incurred date of the claim.
Receipt Status: Indicates whether a receipt has been uploaded.
How to Use the Line Reports Page
Accessing Line Reports:
From the left sidebar, select the Line Reports option to navigate to the page.
Reviewing the Summary Dashboard:
Use the summary section at the top to understand the overall distribution of claim line statuses.
Searching for Specific Claims:
Utilize the search bar to locate specific claim lines by entering keywords such as Claim ID, Claimant Name, or Claim Item.
Tracking Claim Lines:
The listing table provides a detailed view of each claim line, helping users track their claims' progress and ensure that no steps are missed.
By leveraging the Line Reports page, claimants can manage their claims efficiently, ensure compliance with organizational workflows, and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
