Engagement Report

Introduction

The Engagement Report section allows users to generate and review comprehensive reports on claim activities associated with various engagements. This feature enables users to monitor claims efficiently, ensuring better compliance and financial oversight.

Purpose

By using the Engagement Report feature, users can:

  • Track claims associated with specific engagements or entities.

  • Ensure claims are processed within organizational guidelines.

  • Access detailed data for auditing, analysis, or reporting purposes.

  • Identify patterns or discrepancies in claims.

  1. Follow these steps to generate and filter reports:

    1. Navigate to the Engagement Report Section:

      • From the left sidebar menu, click on Engagement Report to access the page.

    2. Specify Criteria for Filtering Reports:

      • Use the available filters to refine your report:

        • Select Claimant: Choose the individual whose engagement report you want to view.

        • Select Company (Entity): Filter the report by one or more companies/entities associated with the claims.

        • Job Group Selection: Based on the selected entity, choose a specific job group or select "All Job Groups" to include all groups in the report.

        • Advanced Search Options: Specify additional filters such as:

          • Submission Date Range: Specify a date range under the "Submission Date To and From" field.

          • Final Approval Date Range: Use the "Final Approval Date To and From" field to filter claims based on when they received final approval.

          • Claim Status: Narrow down the report to specific claim statuses (e.g., Approved, Pending Approval).

    3. Generate and Export Reports:

      • Once all filters are applied, click on Export Engagement Report on the right-hand side. This will download the filtered report as a spreadsheet for further use.

Key Features of the Engagement Report

  • Report Listing: Displays all claim details associated with the filtered criteria.

    • Columns Include:

      • Engagement Name: Name of the engagement linked to the claim.

      • Company (Entity): The company associated with the engagement.

      • Claim ID: Unique identifier for each claim.

      • Claimant: The individual who submitted the claim.

      • Claim Item: Details of the specific claim item.

      • Claim Type: Indicates whether the claim is chargeable or non-chargeable.

      • Claim Status: Reflects the current state of the claim (e.g., Approved, Rejected, Pending Approval).

      • Non-Reimbursable Status: Indicates whether the claim is non-reimbursable.

      • Description: Additional details about the claim.

      • Submission and Approval Dates: Tracks when the claim was submitted and approved.

      • Claim Amount: Shows the monetary value of the claim.

Example Scenario

  • A claimant named Zheng Fung John Tang submitted a Bank Charges claim under the engagement Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng Governance Sdn Bhd. The Engagement Report displays:

    • Claim Status: Approved.

    • Non-Reimbursable Status: No.

    • Claim Submission Date: 2024-07-14.

    • Approved By: Sarah Johnson.

    • Claim Amount: MYR 101.

Why It’s Useful

The Engagement Report ensures users can:

  • Track financial data tied to specific engagements.

  • Maintain organized claim records for auditing.

  • Generate detailed reports for management or stakeholders.

By leveraging the Engagement Report feature, organizations and users gain transparency and control over claim submissions and reimbursements. For any discrepancies in the report, users can revisit the Line Reports or Approval Sequence sections to trace and resolve issues effectively.
