Claim History

You can also check your claim history by clicking on the ‘History’ tab. Here, you can see what action is being taken on your claim in the past. Please refer to the image below to access the History tab:

How to Access the History Tab

  1. Navigate to the My Claim Section:

    • From the left-side menu, select My Claim to access the claim listing table.

  2. Open the Claim Edit Window:

    • Locate and select the relevant claim from the list to open the My Claim Edit window.

    • Click on the Claim Lines tab to view the claim details.

  3. Select a Claim Line:

    • Highlight the claim line you wish to check from the list of claim items.

  4. View History:

    • Click on the History tab on the right side of the screen.

    • The system will display:

      • Claim ID: A unique identifier for the claim.

      • Claim Item Name: The name of the claim item being processed.

      • Status: Current status of the claim (e.g., Approved, Submitted, Pending Approval).

      • Approver Names: Names of the approvers who reviewed the claim.

      • Timestamp of Each Action: The exact date and time when each action was taken.

Why the History Tab is Important

  • Provides a detailed log of actions taken on a claim.

  • Helps users identify bottlenecks in the approval process.

  • Ensures transparency by allowing claimants to track changes and decisions made on their claims.

Example Scenario

  • A claim item labeled "Professional Subscription" shows the following history:

    • Submitted on 2024-09-01 by the claimant.

    • Approved by Line Manager John Smith on 2024-09-02.

    • Approved by Finance Controller Sarah Johnson on 2024-09-03.

By using the History and Approval Sequence tabs, users can effectively manage their claims, ensure timely follow-ups, and maintain compliance with the approval workflow.
