Menu Path: Control Panel >System admin> Manage Users > Audit Trail Report


This function provides a chronological record or destination along with the source of records as a documentary evidence of the sequence of activities that take effect at any time on a specific operation, procedure, or event that occurs on Enterprise Management Portal (EMP).

This function allows user to generate detailed Audit Trail whereby can filter by users, branches, Dates, types, keywords.

1. Audit Trail main interface and Fields

Filter Criteria:

  • User
  • Branch
  • Date Range;
  • Type;
  • Keyword


2. Record of Backdated / Futuredated of Payment Voucher transaction on Audit Trail  Report

 1.Open Payment Voucher

Below is the example of one of the above.

The audit trail report will show the Backdated Transaction of Open Payment Voucher.

Today Date:

2. Audit Trail for change of category in Edit Item

 Edit Item

1.On Edit Item, select an item code. Changes to any / all of it's categories will effect or show changes on Audit Trail Report.




Below image shows the process of selecting an Item once user clicked on "Select Item Code". User may search by also typing the keyword, for instance, "gst".


Once user has choose their respective Item / Item Code, the user will have to click submit, and below image shows the interface user will be seeing once they click on Submit button. User may try to make any changes on any / all of item's category and see the changes or activities to be reflected on Audit Trail Report simultaneously (Explained further below). For instance, set maximum purchase price to RM 600.00.


Below are the Audit Trail Report that user will have to check on to see those changes done to "Edit Item" that will be also reflected in here.

User may navigate through Control Panel >System admin> Manage Users > Audit Trail Report


Once user have choose to select user or branch, date, and type, user will be able to see results such as the image below. This shows any latest activities made on the respective section / system.

For example, image below shows the Item : ZENFONE 6 that was selected under Item Code earlier, and others changes.


The image below shows the result when user type in a keyword related to the item code they choose earlier, example "gst", and the report generate all the activities associated with the respective item code.

For example, look below, it shows the activities for item code : ZENFONE 6 - GST, and some changes that was done earlier such as Maximum purchase price of RM 600.00.


3. Record of Backdated / Futuredated journal transaction on Audit Trail  Report

Menu Path: Accounting > Journal and Ledger > Add Jtxn

 Record Backdated and Future Dated Journal Transaction

Once accessed into "Add Jtxn" following the above mentioned menu path, you will be seeing the interface as below:


1.Creating a Back dated journal transaction:

Take note on the date of the transaction, example:

Current Date: 24 / 03 / 2017

Back dated: 14 / 03 / 2017

Choose the respective values for fields shown on image below, and click save detail before clicking on "Add GL Code".


User will be seeing this page when they click on "Add GL Code".


After creating the back dated transaction:


1.Creating a Future dated journal transaction:

Take note on the date of the transaction, example:

Current Date: 24 / 03 / 2017

Back dated: 1 / 04 / 2017

Choose the respective values for fields shown on image below, and click save detail before clicking on "Add GL Code".


After creating the future dated transaction:


The new enhancement allow Audit Trail Report records the both backdated and future dated transaction:
