Menu Path: Accounting > Accounting Maintenance > Financial Year > Add Financial Year
The Financial Year is the first setting needed to be done when first time implementing this software. Once the Financial Year is set, it is advised not to be changed as it will affect the Financial Statements, Reports and Audit, GST Submission process and etc.
The Financial Year is required to be added every new period (usually every new year) manually.
- Select the Add Financial Year as displayed in the sample image below.
- The following interface will be navigated.
- Ensure that the checkbox at the Option field is ticked.
- Click on the Generate Now button.
- Please Go to Edit Financial Year & Period to update additional information
- IMPORTANT DO NOT MISS : Step 3: Please proceed to next step Add Tax Year.
