Creating a Website

Creating a website is a crucial step in configuring your Customer Portal. It serves as the digital foundation where your portal operates, enabling users to interact with your organization seamlessly. This process builds upon the branch you created in the Organization Applet, ensuring your website is linked to the appropriate operational structure.

To configure your Customer Portal, the first step is to create a website. This process involves accessing the CP-Commerce Admin Applet and entering specific details to set up your site. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup.

Accessing the CP-Commerce Admin Applet:

1. Log in to the CP-Commerce Admin Applet using your credentials.
   

   

2. Navigate to the "Website" section on the left menu panel.
   

   

Details for Website Creation:

1. Click on the "+" icon or "Create New Website" button to begin the process of setting up a new website.

2. Fill in the required details:

   • Website Code: Obtain this code from the MIS Team, as it uniquely identifies your website in the system.

   • Website Title: Enter the name of your website that reflects its purpose.

   • Branch: Select the branch you created earlier in the Organization Applet. This links the website to the appropriate operational branch.

   • Pricing Scheme: Specify the pricing scheme to be associated with this website. This can include tiered pricing or specific plans tailored to your customers.

3. Double-check all the details to ensure accuracy.

4. Click "Create" to finalize the website creation process.
