Configuring the Customer Portal: Understanding the Process

The Customer Portal is a critical component that provides users with a seamless interface to interact with your organization. It allows customers to access information, perform tasks, and interact with your services in an intuitive and organized manner. Configuring the Customer Portal involves customizing its design, functionality, and user experience to align with your company’s branding and operational requirements.

This section provides a detailed guide to building and tailoring your Customer Portal, from uploading a logo to setting up authentication mechanisms. By following these steps, you will ensure that your portal meets user needs while maintaining security and professionalism.

In this documentation, we will be going through two key applets within the Akaun platform:

  1. Organization Applet: This applet is essential for managing and configuring company details and branch operations. It allows you to create branches, manage their information, and ensure foundational configurations like business registration numbers (BRN) are accurate.

  2. CP-Commerce Admin Applet: This applet enables the creation and management of websites, including layout customization and structural adjustments for the Customer Portal.

  3. The Membership Admin Applet: Enhances the Customer Portal by managing user memberships and reward systems. It allows businesses to create custom member classes and integrate point-based rewards, boosting user engagement and fostering customer loyalty.

Logging into Akaun: Log in here using your credentials to access the platform and its applets. Once logged in, you can navigate to the specific applet required for your tasks.

For more information on onboarding and using this applet, refer to the User Guide Registration.
