What is Posting Date on GST Audit File

Posting date represents the date on which Invoice created in EMP, although it is not necessarily the same as the invoice date.

For example: You have received the vendor invoice with a invoice date as 12th october 2017 and the same invoice you are creating in EMP on 14th october 2017. in that case while making the entry you will give Invoice date as 12th october 2017 and Posting date as 14th october 2017.

Note: Royal Malaysian Customs made it mandatory to keep record of posting date in the GST audit report. By default EMP will take current date the invoice entered in the system as posting date. EMP will not allow amending posting date manually.
