What is GAF?

Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (JKDM) will conduct audit on businesses from time to time to ensure that businesses are making correct tax declarations. The GST Audit file is a way for taxpayers to submit information to the GST Custom Auditors.

Why is GAF analysis important?

It is the taxpayer’s responsibility to ensure the GST03 Return is True, Correct and Complete. GAF contains all accounting transactions relating to your business which will be used by JKDM to audit your GST03 Return submitted.

It is therefore imperative that you are able to read and analyze the GAF details for correctness and completeness.
