Here’s how the POS General Applet relates to other applets:
Cashbook Applet
Settlement Methods: Settlement methods used in the POS General Applet are configured in the Cashbook Applet. Each settlement method is linked to a settlement type (e.g., bank transfer, cash, credit card)
Grouping Settlement Methods: To make the POS interface manageable, settlement methods are grouped by type. For example, all bank transfers are grouped under one category
Cashbook by Branch: Each settlement method can be configured to be used only by a specific branch
Voucher Management Applet
Voucher Creation: This applet is used to create and manage vouchers. You can set the voucher's type, face value, validity period, and redemption rules. Vouchers are linked to a specific item type
Voucher Serial Numbers: Serial numbers for vouchers are recorded in this applet. You can import existing serial numbers from EMP during migration
Issuing Vouchers: When you give a voucher to a customer, you issue it via the POS General Applet. This changes the voucher's status from "unassigned" to "assigned" in the Voucher Management Applet
Redeeming Vouchers: Customers can redeem vouchers as a settlement method in the POS General Applet. The voucher's serial number is scanned, and the system applies the value
Doc Item Maintenance
Linking Vouchers: The item type of voucher must be linked to the voucher in the Voucher Management Applet
Internal Sales Return Applet
Creating Sales Returns: If a customer returns an item, you create a sales return in the Internal Sales Return Applet
Credit Memos: In the system, a sales return creates a credit memo
Refunds: You can refund customers via payment in the sales return. This can also be hidden from certain user roles
Cancelling Cash Bill: If you want to cancel a cash bill, you have to do a sales return to reverse the transaction.
Selecting Invoice: To do a sales return, you must select the related invoice
