As part of the E-Invoice module, the Organization Applet is essential for managing and configuring key details for companies and their branches. It streamlines the setup and maintenance of company profiles, including branch information and business registration numbers (BRN), ensuring that all operational details are accurately configured for smooth financial operations.
3.2 Access the Organization Applet

First and foremost, you will need to create a Company in Organization Applet.
3.2.1 To Create a Company

Once you created your Company:
Open your created Company on the listing.
3.2.2 Configure a KO

3.2.3 Configure E-Invoice

In E-Invoice Tab, you are required to fill in all of the fields listed below: Missing out on any of the fields may result in failure on getting your e-invoices submitted to LHDN successfully.
E-Invoice Status
Pick ‘Enable’ to enable the E-Invoice service, if you do not wish to use the service, change to ‘Disabled’.
E-Invoice Country
Select your Country.
E-Invoice Mechanism
Direct LHDN: Using LHDN's own API, directly link to LHDN MyInvois Portal.
Peppol: PEPPOL offers a gateway for interoperable e-invoicing that also transcends national frontiers, catering exclusively to B2B transactions.
Select ‘Direct LHDN’ if you do not want to use Peppol Service.
E-Invoice Batch Line Logic
This is for consolidating E-Invoice, LHDN provides three options - By Line, By Branch, By Document. Kindly select according to your preference.
By Line: The summary of each receipt is presented as separate line items in the consolidated e-Invoice.
By Document: -The common choice- The list of receipts (in a continuous receipt number) is presented as line items (i.e., where there is a break of the receipt number chain, the next chain shall be included as a new line item)
By Branch: Branch(es) or location(s) to submit consolidated e-Invoice, adopting either by Line or by Document for the receipts issued by the branch(es) or location(s).
LHDN Environment:
Sandbox: is used for pre-production. It means that all transactions created under this company will go to the sandbox, which serves as the pre-production environment.
Production: Everything under this company go directly to the production server.
Supplier's ID Type: BRN
Supplier’s Reg ID: BRN Number (Business Registration Number) - 12 digits, you need to check with LHDN
Supplier Name: Which is your company
Supplier TIN: TIN (Tax Identification Number) for this part, you need to check with LHDN

After entering the BRN and TIN, click "Verify TIN" to check if it’s valid. Ensure that both the TIN and BRN are valid to configure the e-invoice upload. If the TIN is invalid, the e-invoice won’t be configured in the Bigledger. |

MISC Code: The MISC code is already within the system, so you just need to choose it from the options provided. You can obtain it from your SSM
Nonmandatory Fields: If you have the information, you can add it; otherwise, you can leave it blank. It will not affect the configuration.

After finishing up the details, click 'Save''
3.2.4 Create New Peppol ID

Add a New Peppol Registration
Fill in the information:
Special Identifier: Enter "SSM – number" or "Test Purposes".
Business Identifier: Choose a code.
Company details will auto-fill.
Add Documents: Specify the document types to receive with this Peppol ID/Participant ID (e.g., credit note, self-bill invoice). You can select all types if needed.
Click SAVE
The new record will appear in the listing as shown below.

For Editing and Finalizing:
Double-click on the entry to edit the information as needed. Click the Final button to finalize; no edits are allowed after this.
Finalizing Process:
Once finalized, a new tab appears with a subtab Sign with PDF, or you can double-click on the record to access this page.
Upload a signed PDF (to make the Participant ID discoverable by the access point). The PDF is provided by BIGLEDGER SDN BHD (as authorized by MDEC for PEPPOL Identity registration).
After uploading, click Sign with PDF then the Peppol KYC status will be verified in MDEC.

Copy the new Participant ID

Setting Up Participant ID:
Copy the new Participant ID and go to the Peppol ID tab.
Ensure the status is Enabled for sending or receiving documents via Peppol.
Click the + button to add a new Peppol Participant ID
Paste the copied ID. and click on Verify Participant ID. If valid, a green Peppol Valid ID message will appear.
Set it as default and click ADD button to complete the process.

Using Peppol ID in Other Applets:
The verified Peppol ID must be set as the default in other applets to ensure proper functionality and avoid issues with document exchange between tenants.
Once set, proceed to the Customer Maintenance Applet to further configure.
